I have installed the beta version of this product and ran
a full scan of my computer including the registry for any
threats. It is coming back with 0 threats. I run Ad-
Aware and Search & Destroy and both of those apps are
returning spyware. Since the "New" Microsoft AntiSpyware
program is also supposed to be blocking spyware from even
installing - why is it that spyware continues to show even
after removing them through the other 2 programs?

Jen,

MSAS does not detect nor remove Cookies at the present time. Is that
what AdAware and Spybot are finding on the system ?

Got the same problem just ran Adaware and pickedup 36 bad
guys......

A program, besides using Adaware & Spybot on demand, is
Webroot's Spy Sweeper running in the background with
MSAS. It can be set to block tracking cookies.

Hi Jim,

In the Beta1 version, the program doesn't go into the cookie jar, nor does
it chase data miner objects.

That must be it.
