Doesn't detect Comet Cursors & can't submit spyware report

Spybot Search and Destroy detects "Comet Cursors" on
different occasions. Both before and after I recently
formated and reinstalled windows. The Beta program does
not and Webroot Spy Sweeper does not. I have the 1.0.509
Version with most recent updates.

When trying to submit a spyware report through the
program I get the message"An error occurred submitting
the scan results. Please check you Internet proxy
settings and try again.". My connection with the
Internet seems fine, firewall was turned off, I don't
know what would work. I had this problem with the
earlier version before I reinstalled Windows.

Some adware companies have begun to allow their software to be removed by
going to ADD / REMOVE software and comply with the requirements that would
move them from the malware category. Consequently, they will not be found
by anti-spyware programs because they were removed from the antispyware
category.

I'm not sure about Comet Cursor specifically but the last machine I cleaned
up for someone, I removed Comet cursor by Add / Remove software. Now of
course, some registry entries may remain so a good registry cleaner like
RegSupreme can clean that up.

Also, The Submit a Report doesn't work - there is a link to use floating
around here in an FAQ.

If you don't seem them in Add/Remove, look in the appropriate programs group
(Start Menu > All Programs).
