I have been running Outlook 2003 for a while now linked to Exchange server
cached mode. All of the sudden while creating or replying to email in
Outlook with Word as the Editor, Outlook has started to close without
warning. I believe this may have something to do with the new MSN Search
toolbar I was prompted to update and gave in last week. I will remove the
MSN search toolbar to see if the problem goes away but does anyone have any
other advice?

I recall a problem like that. Some people had pre-release versions. The
issue is the product code. You will need to obtain another product code.
Search technet.com for the white paper.

the search toolbar also prevents mail from sending... so ditch it.

Greetings,

I un-installed the MSN Search and found this did not solve the problem. I
am back to finding the product key per the first post. Intersting that I use
a volume license for all of our PC's and my system is the only system with
the problem. I will try a complete in-install and re-install next.

Thanks for the advice though.
