I have a PS2 mouse that I want to plug a serial adapter
into and use my serial port. I have enabled it in the
BIOS and yet it is not being detected in Windows 2000
professional. Is there something I'm doing wrong or is
there something I'm not doing that I should be??

Thanks in advance.

not all PS/2 mice work with a serial adapter.
A lot of microsoft mice do, but not all.

I think yours does not. Try a different mouse.

Also If I recall correctly (it is a long time since I used a Serial Mouse)
you need to load drivers for them.
