components of XP. In Vista there is an enhanced version of the
process called SuperFetch. Also, Vista can utilize Flash Memory
devices to function as additional physical RAM. However, I'm
not sure the process is fully functional in Beta #2.

It acts like an extension of the Virtual Memory pool. Superfetch
preloads certain code which allows faster access. Since Flash is
faster than physical drives - using Flash as part of Virtual memory
should result in quicker performance. It's not a substitute for more
physical RAM but with Flash Memory prices, having a 512-Meg
module installed on a Vista PC might help a bit.
