Does Photo gallery have a limited number of images it wll hold?

I am interested in knowing if the photo gallery feature of front page has a
limit to the number of images it can old. I can not add any more after 24
and I have 35 I want to use.

You probably hit the limit then.
I've never been able to ascertain the exact limit - it seems to me it may be
a combination of quantity and file size.

On a Unix server there may be a limit of about 35 images, however this seems
to vary between systems and the photogallery actually in use.

On Windows servers, there is no apparant limit - but your mileage may vary.
However, 351 pictures in one gallery is too many. 351 thumbnails makes for
a page that will take forever to load, even on DSL.

Definitely varies. I've gone way over 35 on linux box and have had no
problems.
