In settings for Outlook 2003 AutoArchive,
If we check 'Delete expired items,' will OL AA still Move & Archive our old
items if we check 'Move old items to ..' ?

Expounding: I want to SAVE old copies in Archive, but let AA clear space in
the main active folders. How?

Yes. An expired item is one whose expiration date has passed not any generic "old" item.

That's what AutoArchive does. It moves (not copies) items from current folders into your archive folders.

Expired items and aged items are distinct. An expired item is one for which
you specifically have set the expiration date. Autoarchive does not work
with the expiration date, usually, but with the modified date of an item,
moving to the archive folders items whose modified date is older than the
archive date you've set.
