Does not send from IMAP account

I currently have a valid POP3 account as a default and I added an IMAP
account to Outlook 2003. I found that I can send and receive e-mails from the
POP3 but only receive from the IMAP account. Now I've got 3 messages waiting
in the Outbox that I am unable to send. I've tried with Secure Password
Authentication and "my outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication, both
enabling and disabling the options.
Any suggestions?

Never use "Secure Password Authentication" unless your provider explicitly
tells you to. It is an MS Exchange thingy, and most Internet E-mail Service
Providers don't use MS Exchange servers.

Would this provider's SMTP Message Submission Server require an SSL
connection (port 465)?
