I am looking into buying a laptop with Media Center, but I need it for
programming too. I need a operating system with IIS support.

Is it possible with WMC?
Thanks,
Tony

Windows Media Center Edition is a superset of Windows XP
Professional. It has everything in Professional, along with its
extra features.

Since IIS comes with XP Professional, the answer to your question
is yes.

I didn't know that. I'm using Apache Server to test my Web site
before uploading. Does IIS offer any particular advantage?

Sorry, I have no experience with either and can't make a
recommendation. Perhaps someone else can.

It is very important to have IIS if you are doing Web SErvices or Web
Applications.
Thanks for the help.
