Does MDB 2007 still have multiple-instance issues?

hey.. so I open a MDB in 2007; and then I go to open another MDB.. and
Access/Windows just HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNGGGSSSSS
does Access 2007 still get confused about having multiple instances
open?

it's been one of my biggest annoyances.. I almost never have this
problem with ADP

Does Access 2007 still gag when you have 2 instances open?

Does it take 2 seconds or 60 seconds to open the 2nd instance?

let me try it in Access 2000-2003


a) open one mdb
b) open another mdb-- oh wait a second it ****ing hangs
