Does installing IE 6.0 affect any MFC Controls?

I have a VC++ MFC application that was built and tested on Windows 2000
Professional machine and now I want to upgrade the Internet Explorer version
on that machine. I would like to find out whether installing Internet
Explorer 6.0 would affect any of the GUI controls. Please help.
