I tried to uninstall frontpage 2000 from a system that has windows XP and
office 2003. I ran the uninstall program from ADD/REMOVE programs and removed
the registery enteries but when I try to remove the MICROSOFT FRONTPAGE
folder, I get a message saying ACCESS DENIED, file or program is in use and
that I do not have permission to access it, and I logged in as administrator,
What can I do?

See the replies to your original post.

Basically you can't delete that folder as it is part of Windows.

Make sure you are logged on to your computer in the administrator mode.

But going by Add/Remove programs would "safely" remove frontpage.

You could try inserting the FP disk, and run the setup program; then choose
the Uninstall option.

The OP has already stated they were logged in as administrator (or had admin
priviledges), thus:

and>that I do not have permission to access it, and I logged in as
administrator.....</snip>

The folder the OP is talking about was not installed by FP, is was installed and used by Windows. If
you are running Windows XP, you also have this folder.
