Does anyone know of a HOWTO doc for perfon and system tuning?

perfmon doesn't get much epect. I play with it but I've always wanted
a better description of the whole system tuning process of find the
bottleneck, eliminate the boottleneck, find the next bottleneck
process.

the KB doesn't have a tecknote on this, which has always suprised me.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks, but if you add "perfmon" you get 2, count them, two hits, neither interesting.

As I said, perfom doesn't get any respect.
