Does anyone know exactly what the repair function does?

More specifically, is there a command line version that can be used inside a
batch file?

I ran into a wierd problem on a tricky navy network, and in order to keep my
lan connection up, I am forced to monitor it constantly and press the
"Repair" button in the LAN Status box. My address, DNS settings, and WINS
settings are all correct (using DHCP), but the connection still goes up and
down intermittently. I have check the physical layer, and everything seems to
be AOK. I am running XP Pro SP1.

Thanks!
Steve

Steve,

please use http://www.michna.com/kb/wxnet.htm to solve this
problem.

I suspect your computer had an unprotected (not firewalled)
Internet connection.
