Does anybody know how to backup icon associations for windows XP?

For example, let's say I create a new folder and I change the icon for
that folder to someting I created. Let's say I do that for a LOT of
different folders. If I reformat my harddrive and do a reinstall of the
operating system I would like to get all those icon associations back
without going to each and every folder and changing the icon again. Is
there a program out there that can back up the icon associations?
 
They are not really icon associations. The details are saved in
Desktop.ini
If nobody knows of a program, then just save the Desktop.ini files in
the folders you customized and put them back in the same folder later.
If you open one with Notepad, you will see the path of the icon you
used.
