Does ANY MP3 player work in Vista?

I've got 2 different Sandisk MP3 players, as well as a new RCA player I
bought for my daughter. Vista cannot locate the "correct" drivers to install
any of them. Does any brand MP3 player work in Vista, to where you can sync
songs to the device? As a caveat - I should point out I'm on RC1, and am
awaiting for my "express" home premium upgrade DVD to arrive by this weekend
(3/23). I will setup as a dual boot to XP, as I have no problems with that
OS. Any advise is welcome.

How 'bout any brand that is NOT Ipod? It's not that I don't like Ipod -
there just too damn expensive. M$ really f***ked this issue up, as far as
not having drivers to A LOT of USB devices. Anyone else running a non Ipod
MP3 player where Vista recognizes it?

I have a new HP computer that came with VISTA, but have not had ANY issues
with using any device that uses the USB.

Not that it is much of a help at this point. But I'll give my daughter's MP3
players a whirl on my computer. I wonder if this is more of an "upgrade"
issue, as many of the problems I have been seeing about Vista I have no
issue with, nor do some other friends that have recently purchased a
computer with it already installed.

I'll have to try my Creative Muvo when I get home. I expect it to work as it
does on XP, no software required: Plug it in and it shows up as a new drive
letter and just drag and drop the songs I want.

I have a Sandisk 4gb player, my wife has a 1gb Sandisk player, both work
fine with subscription and home-ripped music. I have sync-ed music to
several other non-Sandisk players with no problems.

Since you're still on RC-1 that could be your major problem right there.

I tried my daughter's last night she has an RCA Flash mp3 player model
TH101. This works fine, I plug it in just like below it shows up and just
the standard drag & drop the songs I want. I did not try her other one, but
that one also works the same so I do not anticipate any problems with that
one either.

I have a e200 1gb MP3 Player and Vista is not recognizing it. It says it
cannot successfully install the drivers. Anybody? Thanks
