Does a Firewire 800 PCI card make sense in a 32-bit PCI slot?

The page says the board runs at 33 Mhz, but the system requirements call for a 66 Mhz PCI slot. Does that make any sense? In any case a standard 32 bit 33 Mhz slot should be fast enough (just barely) for 800 Mbits/sec. If it runs at only 400 Mbits/sec it is because the designers of the card arbitrarily decided to limit the speed.

Yes, confusing, eh? I'm undecided on this. It may be a good idea to save
some money and go for a regular Firewire 400Mbps card.
