documents with fill in areas?

I have a form in word format. I need to make it so that a user can pull up
the form and type in information that varies into areas on the form but right
now word is simply making the whole form move. I want to keep the form static
and have the user type in designated areas and then print. IS this possible?
CAn it easily be done?
