There are several templates that I use many times throughout the day and I was wondering if there was a way to place an button on the tool bar so that once pushed, the template automatically opens; a one button press operation. I know this seems kind of petty since the amount of time saved will not be great, but it would be a great help since I would not have to dig into different directories to find the template that I need.

Record a macro while you open the document manually. Right-click any
toolbar; select customise. select the Commands tab. Select Macros from the
categories list. Select your newly-recorded macro from the commands list.
Drag to the toolbar of choice. Right-click and play with the options to
choose or edit a caption and/or button image.
