Documenting Local Policies

I want to document the local group policies in place.Is
there a way to print out the settings contained in a
local group policy or perhaps a third party program to
document the contents of the Group Policies?

You can use the security configuration and analysis snapin
to make a template matching your settings. This is a text
file which you could then use to make a pretty-print if just
being able to open it in the security templates snapin is
insufficient. Also, once you have a template you could
import it into a dummy AD based GPO and use the reporting
features of GPMC (if you have a W2k3 license)
Otherwise, there is no reporting for local policy provided
with Windows .
