Document Properties: Contents tab

In Word 2007 (and maybe earlier versions), if one goes to:
Office Button | Prepare | Properties |Advanced Properties
there is a tab entitled "Content". It has the word 'title' inside and
fills in the title that one has given, but no other contents.

How is this filled? I can't type in it and it doesn't seem to accept
pasted text.

The Contents Property in Word provides nothing more than the Title if you
have added one in the Summary Properties... IOW, it's virtually useless:-)

However, other Office apps make more productive use of that particular
property. If you want more info have a look at the following article. It
specifically refers to Word 2000, but is still applicable:

Bob,

Thanks for the explanation and the link.
