Document Pin

In the recent documents list my documents do not show up with the push pins.
I work with several databases and would like to pin the main one so it does
not get removed. Also I cannot add more than 9 documents to the list. All
other office programs have the document pins but Access. How can I get the
to show up? Any help would be appreciated.

tva3,

I am unclear of what you mean by 'push pins' or what version of Access you
are refering. I am also unclear what you mean by 'does not get removed'.
You might be in Windows Start Tail rather then Access and then I would
suggest you ask this in the Windows newsgroup and with a LOT more clarity
then you did here, state your question.

I should say that to get Access to pin to the Start Menu, I simply did a
right click and selected it from the list and there it stayed.

Gina,

Thanks for your answer.
I am using Access 2007 part of the Office pro suite. The push pins are to
keep the recent documents list pinned down. The recent documents are located
by clicking the office button, you will see them to the right of the menu.
In Word or Excel you can pin recent docs from being dropped from the list
and you can set the number of docs pretty high. From the documentation I
read it should be the same in Access but for me I cannot set the number of
documents higher than 9 and I dont have pins visible to pin them down. I
have searched net for answer to problem. Everywhere says it should mimic the
bahavior of word or excel but I have not seen a fix. Hopefully this will
provide more info. Thanks for taking the time.

Tray,

I don't have push pins, I have numbers and the section is titled Recent
Documents. I have never been able to keep them there if I open too many
databases. It shows only recently opened documents. Am I missing
something?
