I have been working on a paper for days. It has always opened just fine.
Today I opened it and it was blank. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Text could have been inadvertently formatted as hidden. If you display
nonprinting marks (including hidden text), for example by pressing
Ctrl+Shift+8, then do you see the text?

Does it have the correct file size and indicate the appropriate number
of pages?

What if you close Word and try again? or even Restart the computer?

Is it possible that you deleted all the text before saving? (CTRL+A then
pressing a key would do it)
Do you have Word configured to automatically save backups? If so does the
backup have your text?
