Hello,
I'm reposting this because the first posting seems
to have not made it.
A friend is writing a thesis proposal in Word.
He tried to load it and got the message:
Document name or path is not valid.
* Check the file permissions for the document or
drive
* Use the File Open dialogue box to locate the
document
Neither actions seem to be able to recover the file.
We imported it into Framemaker, but the document is
truncated. Gone is the crucial tail end, which
represents a week's work. (We also got messages about
unresolved references when importing to FM).
Is there any way to recover the file?
Fred
