Document name or path is invalid

One of my docs that I desperately need is not opening due to this error
message: doc name or path is invalid. All other docs are working fine, is
there anything I can do to open this??? I had even saved this doc to my flash
but it doesn't even open from there.

Jessica - how are you trying to open the doc? Not from the list of recently
opened docs, I hope. (if so, the fact that you've moved it since last opening
it is resulting in that error message.) If you've only tried opening it from
within Word (using the Open command from the File menu), try leaving Word,
navigate to your document, double click to open it. Does the document show
with the Word icon beside the name? If not, you may need to right-click on
the doc and choose "Open With" from the pop up menu that appears, then choose
Word.

If this still doesn't work, there may be a problem with the doc name. Change
its name to a simple thing, all text and no odd characters, and be sure it
ends in .doc
Try again.
