Trying to insert link to another document.
Because the name of the document has an @ in it, MS is assuming it's an
e-mail address and inserting a mailto: link. Try deleting the mailto: MS puts
it back.
Any ideas other than rename the target document to remove the @ ??

I created a file called (e-mail address removed) and created a hyperlink to it. No
problem. Are you sure the problem is not caused by something else.

Something else you can try (not sure it will work though) is use %40 in
place of the @ in the link.

Could the problem be that you are typing the file name ([email protected])
rather than using the Insert> Hyperlink command? In order to distinguish
such a file name from an email address Word needs to know the complete path
to the file.
