document Excel charts - Excel 2000

Hello --

I am a newcomer to graphs in Excel.

I want to document all the settings of my charts.

Is there a way to use VBA in Excel to save to a text file all the
properties, settings, etc., of a chart?

If not VBA, are there other methods to document properties of graphs?

In ACCESS, I use the undocumented SaveAsText function to save properties of
forms, reports, queries, etc., for information about the objects, and as
backup.
