Document Corrections

I've seen word documents where you can make suggestions for corrections by
making them in the margin of the document. The suggestions are then attached
to a line that directs the reader to where the suggestion applies. I've also
seen somesort of color scheme with regards to corrections. Certain words
were color yellow and purple. It seems like a very useful tool for group
work. Could I get some help on to being learning about this feature?
