Doc Type

Hi all,
I'm using FP 2003, I went to W3.org and use their Validater and it said I
had no doc type, I know that the doc type tells the browser how to display
the page but I thought FP automatically list the doc type in the heading.
Come to think about it MSN.com doesn't list a doc type either. Is Microsoft
saying that Doc types no longer needed for newer browser? What's the big
picture and if I need to add a Doc Type is their a default method in FP
editor that allows this?
Thank you

Validators use a doctype to check the code
Use of one depends on your needs and user audience
You can insert one using FP Code Snippets
Switch to Code view and position your insertion point where you want to insert the code, press Ctrl-Enter. You'll see a drop down
list (similar to the Intellisense drop-down list) with all the code snippets available on your computer.
