DocType

Michael

I'm just now realizing that FP2003 didn't put my doc type in and - excuse my
stupidity - but I wouldn't know what doc type to call it! The site is
www.missioneperte.it and it is mostly html, shared borders, i frames, dhtml
menu, etc.

I put in this:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"

which I got from a microsoft site
(http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa218654.aspx#odc_fpworkingwithdoctype_resources)/

However, it messed up a few of my link colors and underlines and
http://validator.w3.org didn't like it at all.

How can I determine what doctype is correct???

Thanks!

Michael
