.doc search

I have a folder with a lot of .doc files in it.

Is possible to create search function for aspx page that will search those
documents for specific information and will display names of the files
found. Any suggestions?

Vlad,
I think you cross-posted this to almost ever newsgroup, but the one you
should of posted too... microsoft.public.inetserver.indexserver.
The Indexing Service is what you're looking for in regards to creating a
search function for your aspx pages that will search MS Word (.doc files)
for "special"/custom and MS word metadata such as author, size, etc. as well
as display the document name...
