Yes, I know this is an extremely old thread.But I wondered whether anyone's views had changed since 2009?
Had it and got shot of it. I really don't need to know everybody's every move and what color toothbrush they have just used. Its just as bleeding annoying as that status thing on Fartbook

Isn't it funny how some peoples opinions have changed since this thread started? 
Like what has been said before though, i find twitter can be a very quick way to find things out, be it news etc. Usually faster than the rest of the internet. That said, its also a hotbed for wild internet Chinese whispers too!
