some applications cannot
run on newer o.s.'s because of
programming codes that have
been advanced since that time.
further most reputable software
makers/engineers have re-engineered
their software with newer
programming and make their
software available as upgrades.
so if you need to find something
to re engineer it would have to
be the application and not
windows.
an easy solution for you would
be to install winme on a different
disk and install the out dated
applications for it on that disk
as well.
