I recently had to have my computer formatted. Is there a way to download
word from your web site to my computer?

No - it's installed with your legally purchased CDs.

The only downloads from the Microsoft Office website for MS Word are those included in the MS Office 2003 trial edition

and that can be converted to a full purchase or you can buy online from http://shop.microsoft.com
or download the Office 2007 pre-release/beta 2 test (not for important daily use)edition
http://microsoft.com/office/preview

If you previously had only MS Word and not Excel or other Office apps then you may have it as part of the MS Works Suite. The CDs
for that should have come with your PC, preferably on Microsoft CDs, but possibly as part of the PC 'application recovery' CDs.
