Do you discuss using VBA in PowerPoint

J

Jill

I do a lot of training slideshows that bring up userforms created in the VB
Editor. Do you support VBA questions here? Do you know of any PowerPoint VBA
newsgroups or websites?
I usually use PowerPoint 2002 with Office 2000.
Thank you

Jill,
You've found the best place to get your answers. Best way to get help is to
post your question and the relevant code. One of the gurus will help out. If
you need some "getting started" type help or if you want to know what is
already out there, check out the VBA section of Steve Rindsberg's PPT FAQ
starting at:

Isn't that all we discuss here? I just wonder why people keep giving answers
with non-VBA solutions to things that can be done in a perfectly complicated
way with VBA. Oh, OK, I guess non-VBA questions and answers are allowed
here, too, but VBA is definitely a major topic for discussion.

David:
Who says you aren't one of the VBA gurus Kathy mentioned? You do have a
great book out on the subject don't you? And someday, (maybe, if we both
have time at the same time), we will even get around to doing a book
exchange :)

Jill,
Don't let David fool you - he may not have as many years here on the
newsgroup as some of use, but he knows more than I do on VBA :)

Thanks, Kathy. I'm just waiting for one of the real gurus to write a
definitive book on the subject. My book is for beginners and barely
scratches the surface. Not only that, it contains just about everything
I know.

We just do that to keep John Langhans off our case.

Trust us, Jill. Most of the time he tells the truth. He just fell off the
wagon a bit today.
