Do I need to update?

The security patch for Outlook Express 6 SP1 (KB823352... 1.9 MB) is
asking for download and installation. The point is, I don't use OE 6 for
anything. Is there any valid reason to download and update?

Yes. Whether you use them or not, IE, OE, are part of XP and can not
be removed. Might as well keep them secure anyway.

Yes, it's still installed on your system. One thing to consider,
however, is that SP2 will be available on windows update starting on
8/16. I believe that patch is incorporated in SP2.

I have ApplicationX on my pc but I never use it, and never will use it.
Should I spend the time to update/upgrade it?
