Hi
I am not chineese cant speak it or think like them.

I am trying to get a hard disk into a large 3 bay tower. There are no
holes on the back plate to get a screw driver in to secure it. It
looks like the compartment can be taken out if I could only get this
F*** front cover off. I don't want to break of the plastic grips but I
dont know how to get this off. I don't have many tools as I am a
programmer. just a few screw drivers and a SMALL socket set.

Please HELP

Desmond.

front cover can have plastic pins which fit into sockets. Also look at the
bottom of the front cover, is there a clip you depress with your fingers
while giving it a good hard pull to get the pins out of the sockets.

Additionaly, some boxen have a screw at the top, requiring you to remove the
top cover to access the screw.

Strip everything you can from the case, then take your time looking at it in
good light, patiently, until it becomes obvious.

What case did you buy, maybe we can help if we know that!

The front cover has those stupid plastic grips at the back but you
need some tool to do this. I can;t beleve that you have to use brute
force and strugle with it. If they break off then it's knackered.

Usually with those types of case, the face of the case is just held in by
those plastic grips, but sometimes there are on occasion a few screws holding
the thing in place. If there are no screws, usually you pull from the bottom
of the front of the case and the thing comes off. Please tell us what exact
case you bought so we can look it up and help you further.

This case was held on by screwshttp://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk39/spuddly2003/DSC02789.jpg

I have removed all screws. I still have the plastic fixings. I need a
tool I think for this/
