Do I capitalize The in The Pearson Family?

This is the sentence: "Our efforts in serving The Pearson Family span many
years." Do I capitalize "The" and Family"?
 
IMHO, no.

I'm not an English teacher; just a legal secretary with 25 years' experience.
 
I wouldn't in most cases. I might capitalize "family" if it is an
incorporated entity or trust. For example, the descendants of the family of
Orville and Wilbur Wright are organized as the Wright Family to protect the
interests of the Wrights' historical legacy.
