Do autoexec.bat/ config.sys work in xp?
I have put some settings in 98, like setting c:TEMP and
C:TMP folder so that I can clean them manually. I have done
that by putting that in autoexec.bat in c: which is my 98
partition. some settings are also put in c:config.sys
Is there any way that the same c:autoexec.bat and
c:config.sys get used by xp sp2 that is in my e:
or, do I need to keep them at e:, if at all these work in
xp? It should use same c:TEMP and c:TMP folder for its temp
work in xp as it is using in 98.
What are the useful settings for autoexec.bat and config.sys
in xp?
