dns updates

Hi there,
I already disabled Update DNS in tcpip, dns tab on a windows 2000 server and
still is trying to update dns on my Unix. Where else should I disable it?

What is still trying to ... ? the client? is the client a Win box?
If yes, go to NIC properties, highlight TCP/IP > Properties > Advanced > DNS
and uncheck the "Register this connection's address in DNS"
