DNS troubleshoot

Hi!

I have 2 Windows server 2003, DC with DNS server.
I deleted a computer name in AD and when I ping this computername now I get
response from an ipadress with a different computername.
I cannot find the old computername in any DNS.
I tried with ipconfig /flushdns (no success)

What should I do?

Then, I'd check WINS.
