DNS suffixes

In TCPIP properties under the DNS tab I am uncertain which
options I should choose for suffixes. I have
domain1.company which holds most of my 2000 servers but
also have domain1.company and domain2.company which also
have several servers and must be eventually amalgamted
into domain1.company. Each has their own DNS and AD
structure.

Should I use the "Append primary and connection specific
DNS suffixes" along with the "Append parent suffixes" OR
manually specify the domain1.company, domain2.company and
domain3.company entries below? Also, unsure if I need to
specify the dns suffix for this connection at all.

If you need mulitple internal resolution with those suffixes, I would append
them until you merge the two domains.

Sorry, I am confused. Do you mean manually append them
(ie. where I can enter them manually)? Also, does that
mean I do not need anything in the dns suffix box?

Didn't mean to confuse you, Yes, manually enter them in the DNS suffix box.
You can also rearrange them once in there to check one suffix first before
it checks the other.
