DNS suffix HELP!!

Is there a way of sending out the DNS suffix for more than
one domain to clients using dhcp?

We have a root domain with 2 child domains.
I set it to "append parent suffixes of the primary DNS
suffix" to client in DNS, in the Advanced TCP/IP settings.

But this does not help when I want to ping a client on the
other sub-domain. It trys to ping "client.co.uk" instead
of "client.company.co.uk"

Is there a solution to this, other than entering a DNS
suffix search order to each client?

No.

That is the only way. You can however create a registry file to enter the
search order, but you need one for each OS.
