I'm running Windows 2000 Active Directory and Microsoft
DNS. I have 15+ DNS servers all are SOA for one DNS
domain. How should this be set up? Should there be one
SOA record that is authoritative for our dns domain or
should each dns server be a SOA?

Thanks...Sean

This is the way it is with Active Directory integrated zones, all are
masters and all will list themselves as the primary nameserver on the SOA
tab. The zone serials should be the same value.

OK..That is the way I have it set up, but my serial
numbers are all different, some incremented 300 more the
others. How can I fix this?

This is normal. As the DC's register into their own DNS or another DNS with
AD INtegrated zones, they are the master at that moment, therefore their
serial will get bumped up. I wouldn't worry about it too much. If not
satisfied, make one of them Primary or keep it AD Integrated and then make
all the others Secondary zones...
