DNS Naming problems ?

My home PC is connected to my Office Server Via a VPN
connection.
I am able to browse Office server if i access it using
its IP address, but unable to browse using Its Name.
Used to be able to untill my broadband was upgraded from
500Kb to 1.1MB
I understand it to be a DNS resolution problem, but not
sure how I can resolve.
Any help please

Can ping IP address ok, but cant ping name
