DNS from NT4 client to Win 2000 server

Hi,
I'm trying to get an NT4 Server to register its Name and IP with my Windows
2000 DNS server.
Both exist in the same namespace.
My 2k clients and servers register perfectly.

Any hints would be appreciated.

Hi,

NT4 needs WINS to be able to do that. Got WINS installed on your server?
Make sure that 044 points to the server-IP and 046 is set to 0x8.
