DNS Diag tool

I have been having problems with my exchange server and I was told in the
Exchange forum that my DNS might not be stable. Are there tools out there
that I can download to check my active directory and DNS to make sure that
they are functioning properly? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Try NetDiag and DCDiag.

They are in the support\tools directory of the Windows CD

The easiest way, and the way with minimum output to wade through is to run
this command against your DCs:

netdiag /test:dns

In addition to the tools suggested, there is a Microsoft tool called DNSLINT
which is a free download. Just do a search on the Microsoft website.

It is extremely useful.
