I have a DC that is configure with (primary) DNS, DHCP and Exch2k I will be moving the server to a new server with new hardware
How would I go about configuring the new server with DNS & DHCP while the old one is still up and running
I currently only have one DHCP server and two DNS server
I would like to do this with the less interruption as possibl

Thank you for your hel

My recommendation would be to move Exchage off of your current DC onto its
own box. Bootup time is horrendus for a unit doing both things.

I would build your network like this (assuming that you are using Active
Directory):

PDC 1 with files, DHCP and primary DDNS
PDC 2 with Exchange
PDC 3 by itself (a small box, just for AD replication and for people logging
onto the network with no further access to services)
member server for secondary DNS (another small box)

Just add another DC to the network.

Yes however my network started with exch2k as a DC also. I thought about
moving it off to a member server but not sure if there would be any major
problems so I decide to leave it the same layout
