DLL problem

I have been using Pinnacle's Studio 9 for a while on my
WinXP Pro PC. Recently, when I tried to open the program,
I received a message that said:
Procedure entry point ASFSendTimeToTime could not be
located in the dynamic link library WMASF.DLL.

I have uninstalled Studio 9, cleaned the registry and
reinstalled the program, but I still get the same error.
I also get the error now when trying to open some other
multimedia programs.

Can anyone tell me if this is a Windows problem and, if
so, how I can fix it?
