.dll file will not load ... causing problem...

When I start up my computer I get a message as follows...
C:\WINDOWS\MICROSOFT.NET\FRAMEWORK\v1.1.4322\MSCORWKS.DLL COULD NOT BE LOADED

Since receiving this first yesterday I have tried to print and could not. I
uninstalled the printer and tried to reinstall and it will not install. All
else seems to be working okay. I use Windows XP, cable connection, and
nothing really fancy. Can someone help me reinstall this file or should I
maybe restore my computer back a couple of days.

Perhaps you could try to re-install/repair the .Net framework from
Microsoft.com. Apparently it is a known bug within the .Net framework. There
is lots of info here http://groups-beta.google.com/groups?q=MSCORWKS.DLL+
but most of it is beyond my expertise. Good luck..........Mark N.

Thanks Mark... wow, there is a load of stuff but I'm with you... a little
above my knowledge base!! Thanks again for your help... going to keep trying
but will probably just restore and see if that works. Wes

Thanks all... I restored back to Wednesday and all is okay and working now.
Still don't know what caused this and would like to have some thoughts. Wes
